As a reminder, I’m doing a fundraiser and donating 100% of the profits this month. I originally intended to send the funds to Reclaim the block but, they have since received overwhelming support and are now re-directing donations elsewhere. After much consideration, I’ve decided to send my donation to Black Lives Matter Toronto instead.
Japanese Americans for Justice Fundraiser
Emi Ito, also known as @little_kotos_closet is hosting a fundraiser on @jasforjustice Instagram account starting tomorrow and I am proud to be a part of it! Proceeds are being donated to several Black run organizations.
There are many wonderful things donated like jewelry, embroidery, pottery, clothing, and yarn to name a few. Some of the brands participating are Concious Clothing, Julie Hoover, and Elizabeth Suzanne. Items will be listed at 20-50% off market value to make it more accessible. I highly encourage you to take a look at the previews on @jasforjustice highlights today and hopefully bid on an item tomorrow!
Rules: To bid on an item, leave an emoji in the comments. Limit of 3 bids total per person for the entire fundraiser. The winning bidder will be selected at random and are to donate directly to one of the organizations listed. Proof of donation must be sent.
